After preventing a major attack in the Netherlands in the first season, Mardik discovers that a much larger conspiracy has been set in motion by an extreme-right organization called Blue Front. The investigation led by Mardik and Joelle takes them across Europe, culminating in a dramatic climax when they uncover Blue Front's plan for a massive attack during a European Conference in Brussels, where several European ministers will also be present. However, everything seems to fall apart when Mardik is forced to choose between the lives of his loved ones and a large group of strangers…
